Swift

Swift is a global member-owned cooperative that provides secure financial messaging, standards, connectivity, compliance, and related technology services for banks, financial institutions, market infrastructures, and multinational corporations. It does not itself move money; instead, its network enables institutions to exchange standardized instructions for cross-border payments, securities transactions, trade, treasury, and other financial activities. Established in 1973 and headquartered in La Hulpe, Belgium, Swift operates internationally across more than 200 countries and territories and connects over 11,500 institutions. Its Malaysian presence includes a Kuala Lumpur corporate services centre supporting IT development, testing, business operations, accounting, finance analysis, and global service functions.
